Information Terms & Conditions of Trading

1. All items are offered subject to availability. A minimum order of £150 is requested.

2. Prices are subject to fluctuation and prices charged will be those ruling at the time of despatch

3. Goods will be supplied on a cash on delivery basis unless credit facilities have been arranged.  Credit facilities are available subject to satisfactory detail, references being provided and credit checks.  The facilities may be withdrawn if settlements are made outside our terms.

• If accounts become overdue further orders may be refused.
• Interest may be charged if accounts are not settled when due
• A charge will be made for any cheques returned to us due to unavailable funds.
• Goods will remain the property of G C Birchall Ltd. until paid for, and as such we reserve the right to reclaim any goods where payment has not been made in full

4. Goods must be checked at the time of delivery and we regret that we will not be able to accept claims for credit for shortages or damages notified after delivery

• Signing for a delivery unchecked is acceptance that the delivery is correct and in good condition
• We regret that we cannot accept requests for collections of chilled and frozen products due to HACCP controls
• In the event of any item found to be of unsatisfactory nature, substance or quality, we must be notified immediately with details of delivery date, product and reason for return. Drivers cannot accept returns without the appropriate documentation. Both the contents and the packaging must be returned. Credit will only be raised after inspection at our premises or by the manufacturer.  Credit will not be issued if goods have passed the ‘best before’ date, have been incorrectly stored or have become contaminated by other products

5. Any cages left as part of the delivery remain the property of G C Birchall Ltd.  A charge will be made for unreturned/damaged cages.

By signing overleaf I understand and accept the terms and conditions above.  If I am not the person placing the orders I will ensure they receive and understand the terms and conditions as stated above.
